Mô tả - In accordance with the company’s strategy, propose and implement the local sourcing strategy for the Textile categorie.
- Sourcing, supplier base accuracy, prices competitiveness and service delivery (quantity, quality, schedule).
- Manage suppliers in order to maintain good and strong relationship, which will impact on the development of new products, and the well-being on future orders.
- Ensure through the relation with each quality manager, logistic director or other functional direction the application of the rules and process in his office.
- Report to Sourcing & Trading Manager
- Develop a reliable and effective supplier database in Vietnam and South Asia countries (Cambodia – Laos – Myanmar – Indonesia – Thailand – China…)
- Manage the orders from the sourcing step, to the shipment, including quality control and administrative process.
- Help the sales department with the new development, by choosing good suppliers and working in accordance with client’s expectations
- Organizing and updating supplier and product database.
Kỹ năng - Has been working at least 2 years mainly in a merchandising role, ideally in a buying office , related to textile products : knowledge about European market is a must, knowledge of sourcing zone is a must, skilled in negotiation.
- Strategy and priority sense: Be able to define the relevant sourcing strategy per his category of product. Able to build partnership with the most important suppliers...
- Good communication skills : Be able to share, convince and challenge suppliers regarding proposal of product, prices, way of solving issues, positive evolution trend,
- Be able to build strong communication and analysis before submitting offers / quotations / informations to all stakeholders : logistics team, quality team and all manager
- Result oriented : Improvement has to be delivered in term of sourcing organization and development, methodology and process
- English : Fluent; French : Is a plus
- Culture : European culture
